Children's Photohraphy: 1 and a half year old portraits with Mommy in Northern MN

 Soooo... I took some time off from the photography to, you know, get married and all that jazz.

But after a perfectly beautiful wedding day pledging my life to my handsome Englishman, a crazy few weeks running up to it complete with many of my best friends arriving from England to stay with me, and a nice, long honeymoon afterwards, I'm back behind the camera!! And I am LOVING what I am capturing through the lens these past few days...

Mason is just under a year and a half and is a big bundle of fun! When I first greeted him, he literally burst into tears and I thought, "oh dear, how's this going to go?" But Mommy got some food into him,, he decided I wasn't that scary after all, I gave him some balloons, Mom clipped on a bright orange bow tie, and we all had a marvelous afternoon :)

I can't get QUITE enough of this pose, I must admit. How much adorableness can you take?? This next coupling is pretty much my favourite, though it's kinda hard to pick with this little heartthrob :)

 I FOREVER love catching the interaction between a Mom and her little ones. These ones of Hannah and Mason just touch my heart :)

 

Gotta love that belly and those back rolls :) I especially loved the angel wisps of his hair!

Children's Photography: 1-year-old Portrait Session at Grandma's house in Milaca, MN

I got to do a 1-year portrait session with my cousin's beautiful baby Aria this week! Not only did it mean a lovely visit with family that I rarely get to spend time with, and a chance to introduce them to the man I'm going to marry, but I got to work with this beautiful little darling :) And to take some of my favourite photos yet!

Like this one... I am a little bit in love with this photo of sweet, pretty little Aria!

I love how graceful and delicate she is...

Isn't she gorgeous?! I just love little Aria's beautiful big eyes!

Grandma even got in on the fun-- for some 3 generation photos!
And for some play time :)

Great-Grandma even came over to get a few photos of the 4 generations!!

Family Photo Shoot at their Home in Park Rapids, MN

I spent a fun morning with this sweet little family on Saturday at their new home in Park Rapids. The sun was out, the temps were up, and the baby girls were adorable :)

 

 

 

 This is their daddy's humour coming through :) We'll call it, "Summer in Minnesota"...

Sweet little Ella clutched her pink bear buddy pretty much the entire time. Such a doll!

Mom and Dad haven't had many photos taken of just the two of them, and you know how I love couples!

Such a massive responsibility. Such a massive love.
