A Photo Shoot of a Sweet New Family in Northern MN

 It was such a joy to shoot this lovely new family. Spencer and Kristin have never had their photos taken together before, and certainly never with their little darling Zabreya! They came all the way up from Tennessee to visit Kristin's dad and family, complete with their lovely, sweet southern accents, and gorgeous new baby girl :)

Sweet baby Zabreya has the bluest eyes and the sweetest smile :)

Engagement-Style Couples Photo Shoot in Bemidji, MN

It's no secret: I love couple shoots!! And I especially love shooting couples who are playful and have fun with one another and with me while we're doing our shoot. Amanda and Rob were JUST that couple :) Having been married for about 4 years now, Amanda won our photo shoot giveaway on our FB page this past March, and last week I met them up with them on Lake Bemidji to wander along its shore and catch some irreplaceable images of their romance story. 

I am loving the timeless romance of these softened black&white images...

Couples Photography in Park Rapids, MN

 It's official.
I LOVE taking photos of couples. 

These two told me with a twinkle in their eyes that they'd been married for nearly 9 years now, while joking back and forth to dissipate the awkwardness of being in front of the camera. Their obvious adoration of one another-- even 9 years on-- didn't allow for that awkwardness to stick around though, as they started a snowball fight in between snuggles and smooches :)

And that was it; I was smitten by couples photography!
