My gorgeous nephew Tucker just turned 4 this Spring. He's growing up way too fast!! So we wanted to get some photos to document how the year has changed him. Now, Tucker is notorious for not liking to have his picture taken. Would you ever guess that from these shots?

How awesome is it to have a photo shoot while jumping on a trampoline? Pretty awesome, I'd say. And his mega-watt smile attests to that :)

Fun Family Portraits in Northern MN

Over and over again, I am realizing that as awesome as is the joy of taking beautiful images for people to cherish down through the generations, the great fun of starting this business is getting to meet so many lovely people I wouldn't have had the chance to meet. It is such a privilege to spend an hour getting to know a family like the Breitwesers, seeing their personalities come out as we go along, laughing with them and making them laugh. God is so beautiful as seen in the faces of all the various people He created, and I am so grateful for my every opportunity to brush shoulders with someone new!

And, all that said, I LOVE the above photo of this family :)

My adorable niece Emmy just had a birthday, so this doting auntie had the privilege of capturing her newly turned 6 beauty on camera! It's difficult to stay behind the lens when her every little grin makes me want to tickle and cuddle her all up :) What a perfect little model!

Of course, I couldn't resist getting her 3 year old little brother Kenan and their new baby sister Gracie in on  the fun :) (Honestly, this little Prince Charming is FOR REAL!)

This awesome family is preparing to head overseas to live and work in a place which is rather dear to my heart after my own time spent there 2 years ago-- Uganda! Each one of them is a treasure and it is so exciting to watch all that God has in store for them as they follow him into a life of ministry abroad. Abe, the cheeky dude up front, told me that he has already met everyone in Africa and can't wait to get back there :) 

What an awesome adventure these cuties have in store for them! They are precious :)

Awesome Family Photo Shoot in Menahga, MN

What an awesome shoot I had with these gorgeous kids on Monday! Between the brothers' banter and the little sister's adorableness, it was such fun. And the beautiful first day of April provided the kind of light that makes me swoon and thank the Lord once again for my camera to capture it!

  

The Anderson kids each have an AMAZING pair of eyes... from the littlest to the biggest...

...And everyone in between!!

Even their cat named Friendly wanted to get in on our shoot :)(And how great would it be to have a bedroom wall like Miss Violette's?)

Biggest brother Mikey is heading off to college and joining the military when he finishes school this Spring, so his proud family needed to get a good portrait session in before he takes off. We recreated a photo of them taken a few years ago with Violette giggling into her hands :)
